Upon arriving at the Byodo-In Temple very early in the morning in order to ensure a very quiet and peaceful experience, one of the grounds keepers promptly fired up his gas engine leaf blower and began cleaning for at least an hour and a half! I had to wait for him to stop in order to capture the audio from this massive bell. Captured with only the crappy, built-in mic on my 5D Mark II, I increased the gain by about 6dB at 160Hz to bring out the tone of the bell...
